The HOPE North Zone Camp Preparatory Meeting was held on 30th November 2019, at LEAD College of Management, Dhoni, Palakkad. The meeting, which was attended by the CGCT Committee members along with Volunteers and well-wishers of HOPE, was held to discuss the arrangements for the upcoming North Zone Camp.
The HOPE Thrissur team meetings were held to discuss the Hope Activities in the district and initiate plans for the One Day Camp that is set to take place in the second week of January at Thrissur.
The meeting which was held at Govt. Engineering College Thrissur was attended by Shri. Satheesh Kumar, General Secretary of CGCT, Dr. Noushaja, Alumni Secretary GEC Thrissur, along with other CETians and well-wishers of HOPE.
The initiative and active involvement of Shri. Azeem A K, Smt. Sajitha Basheer and the HOPE Ernakulam team ensured the successful execution of the Camp.
Trainer Shri. V K Krishna Kumar was able to provide the participants with an indispensable dose of motivation through his insightful sessions.
Shri. Shamsudheen CM (1986 batch CET) visited GHSS Kannadipparamba and spent some insightful time with Principal Shri. Radhakrishnan, Headmistress Smt. Jayasree, Coordinator Shri. Ravi and the HOPE students along with their parents on 19th November 2019.
The HOPE Kollam District South Zone Camp Review & One Day Workshop was organized at Govt. Model Girls High School, Thevally, Kollam on Sunday 17th November 2019.
42 HOPE Scholarship beneficiaries along with 14 HOPE PLUS students and their families attended the event. Mrs. Beena, HM of GMGHS Kollam, inaugurated the one day workshop and delivered a motivational inauguration speech. The event that took place from 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM was a vibrant mix of all-inclusive team activities for the students.
HOPE, HOPE PLUS beneficiary children, their mentors, other HOPE activists and parents in the Thiruvananthapuram District, under the auspices of the CETA Galaxy Charitable Trust, joined at College of Engineering Thiruvananthapuram on Saturday, November 16, 2019.
Though the main objective was to assess the South Zone Camp at Adoor, the One Day Camp also helped the children of the Hope Plus scheme to tell the upcoming progeny, the Hope Children, the paths they had traversed and be their guide.
Shri. Shamsudheen CM (1986 batch CET) visited Sreya Prakashan, grade 8 student at Paisakeri Devmatha HSS and a new member to the HOPE Scholarship scheme.
He was able to personally interact with her family at their home and extend our notion of unwavering support to their ward’s hopes and dreams.
Shri. P. K. Asokan (1967 batch CET), Chairman of CETA Galaxy Charitable Trust visited HS Panangad and met HOPE students Uma K S of standard 9 and Nandana N U of standard 8 with their guide Akhilesh Master and Headmaster Mr. Muraleedharan.
It was marvelous to note that the students shine bright in extracurricular activities and have displayed commendable overall performance.
Shri. Shamsudheen CM (1986 batch CET) spent some quality time with Muhammed Master, HOPE students & their parents at GHSS Chavasserry.
The intention of the meeting was to facilitate a session between school authorities, new members & parents, as well as, the old members who were able to provide an update about HOPE activities and share their experiences.
Shri. Anilraj (CET Alumnus of 1978 Electrical batch) visited the students who are mentored by him at Vakkom. He was able to interact with the students and provide them with a much-needed dose of motivation.
