The second Workshop for HOPE-CARE beneficiaries was successfully conducted at Govt. Higher Secondary School, Agali, Attapadi on 28 January 207 which was another grand success story for the Trust and HOPE. While the second session of HOPE CARES with nearly 100 students from 3 schools of Attapadi was received with great enthusiasm, the first session of the Teachers' Training exceeded all expectations of the teachers. The icing on the cake was the launch of HOPE CARES Skill Development program. Out of the 46 candidates who came to attend, 34 were selected for 2 different programs.
This selection was done through discussions and assessments by professional trainers. 21 were selected for Automobile stream and 13 for the refrigeration and air-conditioning stream.
The selected candidates will undergo a 72 days training programme at the ICICI skill development center in Coimbatore facilitates by Voltas. The center has assured 100% placement for those who successfully completed this training programme.
