The state-level HOPE Empowerment Camp held at Renewal Centre, Kaloor, Kochi 13 to 15 Aug'16 was a great success in terms of participation, arrangements, the ambiance of the venue, training sessions, and presence of eminent personalities from different sections of the society and by the active involvement of lots of CETA members.

The three-day camp of HOPE was inaugurated by Mr. Mohammed Hanish, also an alumnus of the College of Engineering, Trivandrum, at the Renewal Centre, Kaloor, Kochi. Apart from the prerequisite of achieving success in education, he emphasized on the importance of learning through reading during his inaugural speech for the participating students. The gathering of almost 700 scholarship holders and their parents were humbled by the presence of author and critic, Prof. M.K. Sanu The president of the Kochi chapter of CETAA, Mr. Rajat, CETA Galaxy Charitable Trust Chairman, Mr. P .K. Asokan, Vice-chairman Mr. George Abraham, General Secretary, Mr. Satheesh Kumar, addressed the gathering. Program Convenor, A.R. Suresh Kumar gave the welcome speech, while the word of thanks was produced by the Joint Secretary of CETA Galaxy Charitable Trust, Mr. Thrideep V.S
