HOPE CARES Skill Development Programme is aimed at extending job-oriented training to school dropouts from the tribal belt. The objective of the programme is to help them find a livelihood by acquiring proficiency in specialized areas. Selected students are sent for intensive skill development training at the ICICI Skill Development Centre in Coimbatore. The programme is being organized in association with Voltas and is operational in Attappadi (Palakkad District) and Wayanad. Upon successful completion, around 289 youths from Attappadi and Wayanad have already been placed in various reputed companies in South India
