The first batch of 30 candidates, who couldn’t pursue their higher studies, selected from Attappadi area were sent for an intensive skill development program in ICICI skill development center in Coimbatore. This is being organized in association with Voltas Ltd. The center provides training in areas like Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, Two and Three-wheeler servicing, Pumps and Motors repairs, etc.
22 candidates who successfully completed this training programme were provided employment in different companies in South India.
