CGCT Lends a Hand to the Flood Affected Families

A team of our HOPE PLUS volunteers have been active in the flood-hit regions of Meppadi Village in Wayanad. Under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Thajudin Ahamed, they distributed relief materials like tables, household items, and utensils to the families affected by flood and landslides.

The household items were distributed to 55 families of the Meppadi Panchayath. President of Meppady Panchayath, Shri. K K Sahad, Ward member, Shri. Chandran, along with volunteers and HOPE PLUS students Abhishek, Arya A V, Krishnapriya N R, Kavya M P, and Farsana Muhamed were present. It was indeed an eye-opening experience for the students as they personally interacted with the affected families.
