Skill Development Program - First Batch

​The first batch of 30 candidates, who couldn’t pursue their higher studies, selected from Attappadi area were sent for an intensive skill development program in ICICI skill development center in Coimbatore. This is being organized in association with Voltas Ltd. The center provides training in areas like Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, Two and Three-wheeler servicing, Pumps and Motors repairs, etc.

HOPE PLUS for Higher Education

HOPE PLUS, launched this year is the logical extension of HOPE to support HOPE beneficiaries for higher education. Under this new scheme, HOPE beneficiaries who complete their 12thgrade with outstanding academic performance will be supported for 5 more years to pursue the higher education in their chosen areas of interest. This project is being fully funded and supported by Voltas Ltd through their CSR initiatives. The most eligible students will be provided financial support (INR 20,000 to INR 60,000 per year) for a maximum period of 5 years.

HOPE CARES - Empowering Tribal Students

HOPE - CARES is a new project aimed at supporting and empowering tribal students across Kerala was successfully launched on 1 October 2016 at Agali Govt. Higher Secondary School, Attappadi, Palakkad district. It was formally inaugurated by Smt. Sreelakshmi Sreekumar, Grama Panchayath President in a meeting presided by Mr. C. Radhakrishnan, District Panchayath member.

Workshop for HOPE-CARE beneficiaries - 28 Jan 2017

The second Workshop for HOPE-CARE beneficiaries was successfully conducted at Govt. Higher Secondary School, Agali, Attapadi on 28 January 207 which was another grand success story for the Trust and HOPE. While the second session of HOPE CARES with nearly 100 students from 3 schools of Attapadi was received with great enthusiasm, the first session of the Teachers' Training exceeded all expectations of the teachers. The icing on the cake was the launch of HOPE CARES Skill Development program.

District Empowerment Camps - 2016-17

Empowerment programmes were organized in various districts primarily for grade 11 & 12 students to boost their leadership qualities. The major objective of these sessions was to prepare the plus 2 students to become future volunteers and mentors of HOPE. These sessions were effective for those students preparing for various professional courses. The programme was organized by the district volunteers with the involvement of parents and senior students.

HOPE Launch - Kannur District Year: 2015

HOPE Scholarship scheme was formally launched in Kannur District on 07 February 2015 by Hon.District Collector of Kannur Mr.P. Bala Kiran. HOPE scholarships were distributed to 11 students from various schools in the district during the short function held at Kannur Town Co-Operative Bank Auditorium. HOPE Launch - Kozhikode District & Two day Zonal Empowerment Camp -8 & 9 August 2015

HOPE Launch - Kozhikode District & Two-day Zonal Empowerment Camp was inaugurated by Mr. C. Radhakrishnan (Novelist, Film director, and Scientist) during the function chaired by Mr. P. K Asokan (Chairman, CETA Galaxy Charitable Trust) at Youth Hostel, Kozhikode on 8 August 2015. HOPE scholarships were distributed to 15 new students from various schools in Kozhikode district. Around 200 people including 100 students and their parents have attended this camp.

HOPE Launch - Kasaragod District 30 January 2016

Helping Outstanding Pupils in Education (HOPE) now reaches out to 309 students spread over approximately 200 schools across 14 districts of Kerala. HOPE project in Kasaragod District was formally launched in a function held at LBS Engineering College on Saturday 30 January 2016 by Shri P. Karunakaran M. P. HOPE merit scholarships were given to 14 students from various schools.

Three days State Level HOPE Empowerment Camp 2016 - 13 to 15 August at Kochi

The state-level HOPE Empowerment Camp held at Renewal Centre, Kaloor, Kochi 13 to 15 Aug'16 was a great success in terms of participation, arrangements, the ambiance of the venue, training sessions, and presence of eminent personalities from different sections of the society and by the active involvement of lots of CETA members.

HOPE Launch -Malappuram District

HOPE Scholarship Program was launched in Malappuram district at Krishna UP School, Thachinganadam on 13 December 2014. The formal function was inaugurated by Mr. Rahman Kidangazhi, young writer who achieved many honors including Muttathu Varkey Award and Kerala Sahithya Academy Award. Many well-known people from the locality also attended the event.
